And a Healthy, Happy

You probably don’t need another calendar for 2013, and because we are sure that you are in support of helping the environmentally ill, we once again engaged ourselves to help the sick and less fortunate of Punjab, India.

 

Through an environmental study, we are trying to locate if
a) the high rate of cancer as seen in certain villages in the Malwa Belt region of Punjab is linked to toxic exposure, and b) if over fertilization with cadmium- and uranium containing fertilizers is a potential cause.

 

We have already developed a population survey questionnaire and
Prof. Chander Parkash of the Technical University, Jalandhar is presently training 1000 students to participate in this large demographical population survey. Starting Mid-December, samples are taken of healthy people vs. cancer patients who fit the study criteria.

 

Micro Trace Minerals will finance patient testing.
